Oscar Truitt is a Certified Life Coach with years of experience in counseling and personal development. He has a background of 10 years practice in Transcendental Meditation where he was trained by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi as a meditation instructor. Later, he transitioned to a school of Christian Mysticism where he was involved in Street Missionary work.
Seeking a deeper connection to the Christian Mystical Tradition, Oscar joined the Eastern Orthodox Church in 1984 and was later tonsured a Liturgical Reader. He twice served on the Board of Directors of his parish church and, in 1987, initiated a Prison Ministry Program which he directed for 19 years. Recently, Oscar has become interested in personal intuitive development as well as Spiritual Light Coaching.
His pertanent studies include Life Coaching at The Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching (iPEC) as well as training in BSFF (Be Set Free Fast), a form of energy Psychology, and the deeply somatic form of therapy called Focusing. And, he recently became certified as a practitioner of The Emotion Code.
The core of Oscar’s work is in Spiritual Light, a transmission that is channeled through him into his connection to clients. This is an ancient, yet newly awakened form of spiritual empowerment that enables people to delve into deeper levels of their phsycho-spiritual selves.
Oscar is a practicing poet with some publication in various literary jounals as well as contest awards. While creative writing is a passion for him, it is not a professional pursuit. He prefers helping others develop their creativity and connection to their deeper selves. He brings his unique wisdom and insight to these tasks. These are two of his greatest strengths; others include his dedication, compassion, and childlike spirit. But perhaps his greatest asset as a coach is his natural ability to believe in and inspire his clients. This is why he has chosen this field of work: he loves to be part of the process of helping others live their dreams.
